Email Tips and FAQ
Q. "I'm going to need to make a lot of emails. Is there any way to speed up the process?"
A. If you have an entire series of emails that will use a similar format, try creating a single template as a default, and then use the template clone option to copy it numerous times, making the needed changes as you go along.
Q. "I hit enter and it's making a double line break instead of a single line break in the editor. Is there a way to do a single line break instead?"
A. Since the emails are HTML-based, a hard carriage return (pressing the Enter key) creates a two-line space, not a single space. To create a single line space, press Shift + Enter at the same time.
Q. "I'm not sure my template is set up correctly. Can I check it before sending it?"
A. Every email program--Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, whatever--will render your email content slightly differently. Before sending out an email, whether singly or en masse, do a couple of test runs to one of your inboxes to make sure the content is showing up correctly.
Q. "I've noticed that the system can also do auto-faxing. How does this work?"
A. Your email templates can be also be used as an auto-fax template, using the exact same content (including attachments). To use this feature, contact an InsideSales support or sales agent.
