Static initiatives are created from the Leads tab in conjunction with the advanced search options.

For example, let’s say I wanted to find a list of leads in:

• A particular campaign
• In the state of California
• That were all marked as new leads, or had no status set.

We’d first run our advanced search to compile the list.

Once we run our search, the next step is to create our static initiative by clicking the Start New Dialer button in the right corner of the Leads tab screen.

Next the system asks us to input some parameters about how our new static initiative will run.



First give it a name. We recommend including the date the list is created as part of the name. Next, assign an owner. This is the user responsible for calling on this list. The visibility function controls the possibility of users other than the initiative owner calling on the initiative. The script and force default script options are used only when a company wants a dialer script available during the dialer process.

Once the options are selected, you can decide if you want to immediately begin dialing the list by clicking the Start Dialer button, or if you want to start the dialer list later, click Save & Close Window. If you start the dialer immediately, you will be taken to the outbound dialer screen to begin making calls. Otherwise, you will stay in the Leads tab to continue working.

If you have saved a static dialer initiative, but did not start it, you can go back to it by going to the Leads tab, clicking the Start New Dialer button, and then choosing the static list you would like to call in the drop down.
