Web Form / Response Swami ACD
Besides toll-free call routing, the most common use of the ACD system is in conjunction with the InsideSales.com Response Swami™, InsideSales.com’s patented automated response system. The Response Swami is a unique piece of the ACD system that will automatically connect system agents to leads being posted directly off the Web, usually within a matter of seconds.
The primary use for this technology is for companies that capture potential customer information off of the Internet and then send that information to a database to be followed-up. When used in conjunction with InsideSales.com, the Response Swami™ lets companies respond immediately by telephone—literally within seconds—of new Web information requests entering the system. The basic setup of the ACD itself will be no different than a toll-free ACD, the only difference is there will be no toll free number listed in the ACD if one is not needed.

Other Options
This technology can also be applied to leads submitted to the InsideSales.com system through a lead vendor that sends the leads via email, http post, or an xml post. It doesn't have to be leads coming in from web forms on a website. It can even be used in conjunction with the ResponseLoop system to trigger these phone calls at any time in addition to when the lead is first created.
