With Challenges, managers can set special competitions and milestones for their team and track how agents do in completing them. On this page, we'll explain how to manage and create challenges.
On the Administrative tab, click Manage PowerStandings, and then click Challenges. This will take you to the Manage Challenges page.
From this page, you can see a list of all the challenges currently available in the system.
We've provided a number of sample challenges to get you started. You can use the Edit page to see how these examples are put together.
For all other challenges, you have the Edit, Delete, and View links.
Edit and Delete work as labeled; they allow you to edit or delete challenges, respectively. The View link allows you to see any available results of a completed or ongoing challenge.
If you create a large number of challenges, you also might want to take advantage of the search field at the top of the page.
You can click Create New Challenge to create a brand new one, which we'll show you how to do next.
The Edit Challenge Page is used for editing or creating challenges. It looks like this:
Here's how the various options on the page work.
In this section, select basic information about the challenge. It includes the following fields:
For more information on PowerStandings Teams, click here.
In the Challenge Requirements section you can select options that define how agents achieve success at the challenge.
The Value field appears if you chose Race. Enter a number of times the KPI needs to be performed in order to complete the challenge.
The Operator field appears if you chose Timed Event. Choose Most or Least in the dropdown. Most is the option you'll want to choose in most instances. With this option selected, agents who have performed the KPI the most times within the timed period will win the challenge. Alternatively, you may want to select the Least option if you are challenging agents to avoid a particular option.
Include Weekends - This checkbox is the final option in the section. Check this box to include actions performed on Saturday and Sunday in the KPI count. Uncheck it to exclude them. Consider the schedules of your agents when deciding whether or not you'd like to check this box.
This section allows you to set up bonus Points rewards for challenge winners.
Once you've chosen a Points Reward and a Rank, click the Add Points Reward button. Your selections will now appear as an entry in the list below the fields:
You can repeat this process to add additional rewards. You can also click the Edit Points or Del links to edit or delete your previous selections.
When you're finished creating your challenge, click Save.
