It would be beneficial to multiple departments and most likely many businesses to have a simple recurring task reminder feature. I believe a good prompt to end the recurring task would simply be a modification of the task.

For instance, if a task is marked as "needs action", one reminder may not be sufficient to have this task addressed by a sales rep or (other various employees). However, if an reminder email continued to generate daily or weekly (however the creator deemed fit to set up the reminder) until the task was modified to "in process", "completed", etc, then it would be easier on people to track their tasks, and easier on their department heads to run task reports for the individuals.

If some sort of response loop could be construed between tasks and emails to allow for recurrence; this would be greatly appreciated.
