System Update Information and Notifications

System Update Notice

Greetings Customers,

Each month, InsideSales.com™ runs a scheduled system update containing stability upgrades, bug fixes, and feature enhancements. This month's rollout took place on Wednesday, July 28th, starting at 10:00 PM MDT and ended Tuesday, July 29th, at approximately 4:00 AM MDT.

During the scheduled upgrade, users may have experienced temporary system slowdown, errors, or other system anomalies until we complete the upgrade. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding if any such issues should occur.

Accompanying the monthly update will be a list of key items included in the rollout. While we attempt to include as many fixes and enhancements as we can in each update, to meet our monthly schedule, our testing and quality assurance procedures put a limit on the number of items that can be included in each update. If you have concerns about a specific fix or enhancement, please contact a support agent with questions. In some cases, updated code will be added incrementally at a later date, or will be included in the next month's update.

We will always do our best to notify users, administrators, and management teams prior to a scheduled rollout. Please be aware that not all changes may be documented, or notifications sent, until after the update.


This month's key system enhancements include:

Version 2.0 release of the InsideSales.com Integration Suite and API includes the following components:

  • Documentation Portal – A portal of customer customized documentation.
  • Security Dashboard – A dashboard to manage security tokens, approved IP addresses, users and permissions.
  • Sample Code Library – A broad library of code (including Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, C#.Net, VB.Net) to demonstrate all key functions and features.
  • REST and SOAP APIs – New enhanced SOAP and REST APIs facilitating granular access to all data.
  • Logging and Reporting Dashboard – A dashboard enabling detailed analysis of API usage and access.

Fixes for this month's rollout include:

  • A fix for the mass update in Crome.
  • A bug that did not allow all fields to be merged in a fax template.
  • A bug that blanked out the calendar in Crome.
  • A fix for the IVR message not looping.
