Convert Applicants to Employees

After you hire applicants, you should update their status in the system so they will help contribute to the model. You can use the employee's new Salesforce account if you are synced with Salesforce, or you can manually update the profiles.

Update for Salesforce User Account

New Detected Salesforce Users

When you add the new employee to Salesforce, Sales Indicator will detect the new Salesforce user(s) and it will suggest that you add/update the new user(s) in Sales Indicator as well.

  1. Click directly on the notification and then click Mass Update:
  2. We suggest clicking on SUGGEST USERS and the system will try to map the new Salesforce users to applicants within the system
  3. You can search for other corresponding Salesforce users using the Select User column.
  4. Once you have all of the users matched up, click SAVE CURRENT PAGE.

Select Users to Update

You can also select individual users from within the Respondents tab to match to Saleforce accounts:

  1. Click on the Respondents tab.
  2. Select individuals to convert to employees and then click MASS UPDATE.
  3. Select the Salesforce user that corresponds to each selected applicant then click SUBMIT.

Update Manually (Other CRMs)

Before your new employees will appear in the CSV file, you must convert them to employees in Sales Indicator:

  1. Click on the Respondents tab.
  2. Select individuals to convert to employees and then click MASS UPDATE.
  3. Select the names that you wish to convert to employees and click SUBMIT.
